Mozambique, with its sun-drenched shores and captivating blend of bush and beach, has emerged as a must-visit for South African travellers. This popular holiday destination also makes for an affordable tropical island holiday with adventure activities to keep the whole family happy. Mozambique is found on the east coast of Africa and has long been a fantastic destination for South Africans, as a combination of bush getaway and beach holiday. Flights to Mozambique are just a hop, skip and a jump away.

Here the beaches are sun-kissed and the warm Indian Ocean waters lap at the shore. Lying just offshore, is the Bazaruto Archipelago – a chain of four large islands – these idyllic islands are Mozambique’s showstoppers.

Still searching for your perfect African getaway? Consider the wonder of Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls, or the magic of Tanzania's Ngorongoro Crater — not to mention the beach bliss of Zanzibar.
