Please note this tour only operates on selected set departures: 12 October 2020, 09 November 2020, 07 December 2020 & 11 January 2021. If cancelled less than 48 hours prior to departure will incur 100% cancellation fees. One suitcase and one overnight bag per person is allowed. An 08h30 departure from Johannesburg starts the journey. Along the way, there will be a stop in Dullstroom, South Africa’s premier fly-fishing town. You will have the chance to explore this quaint village with its renowned coffee shops, craft-beer brewery, whiskey bar and arts community. The journey continues along the Robbers Pass, an area steeped in history and stories of prospectors robbed of their discovered gold. The next stop is Pilgrim’s Rest. This small town has a colourful history and is a living museum. It has been declared a national monument and is reminiscent of the old Transvaal Gold Rush days. Overnight in Hazyview [Dinner]


Today, a full day will be spent at the iconic Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s largest game reserves. It’s high density of prolific wildlife includes the Big Five: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. It is here that you will experience some of the most spectacular wildlife shows, with a front row seat to the action. Mountains, bush plains and tropical forests make this landscape diverse and thrilling to explore on a game drive. Return to your hotel for overnight [Breakfast]


Today’s visits will include famed natural areas along the Panorama Route. Some of South Africa’s most photographed, painted and cherished sites are found here. Experience Mother Nature’s masterpieces, the Three Rondavels, God’s Window and Bourke’s Luck Potholes. After awe-inspiring vistas, you will spend the afternoon in the town of Graskop. This small town was set up as a gold mining camp in the 1880’s and has progressed into a hive of activity, including fabulous pancake houses and arts and crafts shops. [Breakfast]


The day begins with an early morning coffee or tea, followed by traversing the landscape of the Kruger National Park with a pre-packed breakfast. Passionate and knowledgeable rangers only enhance an already fantastic experience and are eager to share the wonders of this national park. You will return to the hotel at approximately 13H00 and the remainder of your afternoon will be at your leisure. [Breakfast & Dinner]


After breakfast, you will depart Hazyview at 09h00. The final leg of the journey includes a stop at Sabie Valley Coffee. It is a family-owned and managed roastery in White River, where you will embark on a tour conducted by the owner or his wife. You will then be able to enjoy delicious coffee and cake before heading on to Johannesburg, arriving at approximately 17h00.
