COACH ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrive Hanoi

Upon arrival in Noi Bai International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the chosen hotel. The road trip from the airport to the hotel in city centre takes approximately one hour. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

Accommodation in Hanoi for 2-night.

Hanoiwill simultaneously surprise, charm and chew you up. Founded along the Red River, Hanoi was named ‘Thang Long’ (soaring dragon) by Emperor Ly Thai To in 1010. Over a thousand years of war, natural disasters and new administrations, the city grew from swamplands into the charismatic capital it is today.

DAY 2: Hanoi (B. L.)

After breakfast, depart for an Introduction Tour of Hanoi: This tour introduces a visit toHo Chi Minh Mausoleum, built in 1975 to commemorate the great leader's life as a reformer and 'Father of Vietnam' (outside only). You will also visit his old quarters nearby. The unique One Pillar Pagoda, which is the symbol of Vietnam, is built in 1049. The lovely West Lakealso known as the Lake of Mist. Tran Quoc Pagodathe oldest pagoda in Hanoi. TheTemple of Literaturebuilt in 1070 is dedicated to the great Chinese scholar Confucius and serves as the first university of Vietnam. Lunch is arranged at alocal restaurant. Then continue to visit the Fine Art Museum, and finish the day with a cyclo ridethrough Hanoi’s Old Quarter, an experience you will never forget.

Timeless Halong Bay

DAY 3: Hanoi / Halong Bay (B. L. D.)

An early departure this morning for Halong Bay. For many the seascape of Halong Bay is synonymous with Vietnam. Cruise lazily sail emerald green waters among thousands of rugged islands and islets, stopping at some of the most spectacular caves through which you can wander, viewing impressive, centuries-old formations.
The road trip from Hanoi to Halong bay takes approximately 3 and a half hours. The embarkation time is around 11h30 to 12h00. The boat cruise of Halong Bay are sophisticated vessels, offering extremely adequate facilities –depending on the boat allocated to this tour –for small or larger groups. Décor is in modern and traditional style, with carpeted corridors. Bedrooms are noise-isolated, with air-conditioners, and soft mattresses. There are spacious terraces for sightseeing and relaxing. Life rafts provided. Swimming, snorkeling and kayaking in the crystal clear turquoise waters of Halong Bay are favoured activities. Meals served on board are authentic. Service is always efficient, warm and friendly.
Nothing beatsspending the night on its calm waters, waking up to a serene sunrise and joining a Tai Chi class on the deck of a classic ship. Most boats also include shore excursions to visit a fishing village and a classical cave en route

DAY 4: Halong Bay / Hanoi / Hue (B.) by air

Enjoy morning activities on board Halong cruise and disembark after brunch or, a light lunch (around 11h30). Transfer to Hanoi airport for the flight toHue. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and the rest of the evening is at your own leisure.

Hoian ancient town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Hueis an historic citadel. This deeply evocative capital of the Nguyen emperors stillresonate with the glories of imperial Vietnam, even though many of its finest buildings were destroyed during the Vietnam War.

DAY 5: Hue / Hoian (B. L.)

Enjoy an Introduction tour of Hue including visits of the Imperial Citadel,housing emperor’s residence, temples and palaces;Thien Mu Pagoda,an icon of Vietnam and as potent a symbol of Hue as the capital;Minh Mang Tomband Tu Duc Tomb; a boat cruise on Perfume Riverbefore transferring to Hoian (the road trip is approximately 2 and a half hourwith astop at the scenic Hai Van Pass). On arrival, check into the hotel.

DAY 6: Hoian (B. L.)

This morning, enjoy our Orientation tourof the ancient town including visits toa traditional Vietnamese House, the Japanese Covered Bridgebuilt some 600 years ago, a Chinese Assembly Hallbuilt by the early Chinese settlers as Hoian was once an important trading port in the 16thcentury, as well as a couple of handicraft workshops… Lunch is arranged at a local restaurant.

Afternoon and evening is free for your own discovery of Hoian. You can get lost in the Old Town, wander around the riverfront, shops, markets and beaches, etc.

DAY 7: Hoian / Da Nang / Saigon (B. L.) by air

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Phu Bai Airport forthe flight to Saigon. On arrival, visit to the Presidential Palace(known as Reunification Palace), War Remnant Museum, Central Post Office, a classic French architecture and it’snearby historic Notre Dame Cathedral. Continue to Thien Hau Pagodabefore heading to Ben Thanh Market, the largest local wholesale market…

Ho Chi Minh City, known as Saigon

DAY 8: Saigon (B. L. D.)

Uncover the incredible history and religions of modern Vietnam. You’ll visit the mesmerising Cu Chi Tunnels(70 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City), a fascinating network of underground tunnels that were used during the Vietnam War. You’ll find there are more than 200 km of tunnels, comprising a central system with a main axis and many branches that connect to underground hideouts, shelters and additional tunnels. You’ll be able to experience the life of the Viet Cong as you crawl through this amazing system of tunnels. You’ll then discover Tay Ninh, the centre of the Cao-Daireligion that was founded in 1926. Cao-Dai is a combination of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism and Confucianism. You’ll have the opportunity to marvel at the worshippers in their long white tunics during their noon mass.

Enjoy an unforgettable night sailing down the beautiful Saigon River, and delight in the spectacular views of Ho Chi Minh Cityby night. Saigon River is a river located in southern Vietnam that rises near Phum Daung in southeastern Cambodia, flows south and south-southeast for about 230 kilometres and empties into the Nha Be River. The delicious dinner will be served while cruising along the Saigon River & seeing the skyline, bustling rivers lives. Continueenjoy your evening with variety of traditional performances aboard the boat.

DAY 9: Depart Saigon (B.)

Breakfast at hotel and enjoy free time untill you are collected from the hotel and transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
