Whether you’re an experienced diver or just getting started, there are plenty of sites for you to explore. With its stunning reefs and diverse sea life, it’s no wonder that so many people choose Bali as their destination for diving. Let’s take a look at some of the best dive sites in Bali and what makes them so special.

Bali

Tulamben Wreck Site

One of the most popular dive sites in Bali is the Tulamben wreck site. This sunken USAT Liberty ship lies just off the coast and is home to a variety of marine life. The wreck itself is over 70 years old and serves as an artificial reef with its abundance of corals, sponges, and fish. The USS Liberty was sunk by a Japanese torpedo during World War II and now lies in just 12 meters (40 feet) of water making it ideal for beginners and experienced divers alike. It’s also home to a wide variety of marine life including giant morays, barracuda and even reef sharks!
