We recently caught up with Jade from Pentravel Tygervalley, who has just returned from an incredible trip to Thailand. Here’s what she shared about her experiences: Experiencing it first-hand, I can truly say – it lives up to the hype! From soft sandy beaches to vibrant street food and unforgettable cultural shows, here’s a little peek into my adventure and some insider tips if you’re planning your own trip.

Out of all the spots I visited, Patong Beach stood out the most. The sand was incredibly soft, and the atmosphere was vibrant without feeling overwhelming. I especially appreciated the presence of lifeguards, which added a layer of comfort. Plus, there’s so much to do – from jet skiing to beachside eats, it was definitely my top beach experience.
I had the pleasure of staying at Diamond Cliff Resort and Graceland Phuket – both were absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone wanting beautiful views, great service, and a touch of luxury.
However, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel I stayed at in Krabi – it didn’t meet the same standard, so maybe skip that one.

One standout experience was Siam Niramit Phuket – a spectacular theatrical show that dives into Thailand’s rich history. The lighting, costumes, props, and talent were all absolutely breathtaking. It’s a must-see if you love cultural performances that leave you speechless.
I was already a fan of Thai food, but being there took it to another level! Pad Thai and Green Thai Curry were even better than expected. And for dessert lovers – most Thai sweets are made with coconut milk or cream, which added such a delicious, tropical richness to every bite.

If you do one thing in Thailand, make it island hopping. Each island has its own charm – from turquoise waters to hidden lagoons. It’s a great way to explore the natural beauty Thailand is known for.
One of the most fun and unexpected parts of the trip? Exploring the night markets in Old Phuket Town. Bursting with energy, local crafts, and incredible street food – it was the kind of spontaneous plan that turned into a trip highlight.
Strangely enough, one of the things that stayed with me was stopping at a 7-Eleven almost every day for their legendary toasted sandwiches. Sounds basic but trust me – it’s a Thai travel staple!

One tip? Don’t travel to Thailand with a full suitcase – you’ll want the extra space for all the amazing finds and souvenirs. Trust me… I learned the hard way!
