Itinerary

Day 1: ISTANBUL

Welcome to Istanbul! Transfer to your hotel. Overnight: Istanbul

Day 2: ISTANBUL

Visit the city’s highlights such as Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque; St. Sophia Museum and the Hippodrome. The afternoon will be at your leisure. Overnight: Istanbul (B)

Day 3: ISTANBUL – GALLIPOLI – CANAKKALE

Explore the WW1 battlefields of Gallipoli. The surrounding area provides scenic views of cliffs coupled with clear waters and beaches. Visit Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, ANZAC Cove, The Nek, Johnston's Jolly and see numerous original trenches and tunnels. Continue to Canakkale. Overnight: Canakkale (BD)

Day 4: CANAKKALE – TROY – PERGAMON – KUSADAS

See the home of the famed Trojan Horse. Continue to Pergamon and take the new cable car up to the magnificent acropolis. The impressive temples and library found here once made Pergamon a renowned cultural capital and political center. Travel to your hotel in Kusadasi. Overnight: Kusadasi (BD)

Day 5: KUSADASI – EPHESUS – SIRINCE – KUSADASI

Visit the ancient city of Ephesus and the site of the Temple of Artemis, considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Continue to the Greek village Sirince, which is located on the top of a mountain and is famous for fruit wines. Visit the Carpet Factory where you will learn about the history of carpet making and how to determine their value. Overnight: Kusadasi (BD)

Day 6: KUSADASI – HIERAPOLIS – PAMUKKALE

Today we will continue our journey to Pamukkale, known for its mineral-rich thermal waters that flow down the bright white terraces of a steep valley side. Visit ancient city of Hierapolis. Swim in a therapeutic bath of hot spring mineral waters. Then continue to your hotel. Overnight: Pamukkale (BD)

Day 7: ISTANBUL

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Istanbul. Some time at leisure in Istanbul. Overnight: Istanbul (B)

Day 8: ISTANBUL

After breakfast, you will be transferred to airport for your departure flight. (B)
