Day 1: Trieste, Italy
Trieste, located in northeastern Italy near the borders of Slovenia and the Adriatic Sea, is a distinctive port city where Italian, Austro-Hungarian, and Balkan influences blend against a dramatic coastal setting. The scenery combines elegant waterfront squares, grand Habsburg-era architecture, limestone cliffs of the Karst Plateau, and sweeping sea views. Visitors can stroll through the vast Piazza Unità d’Italia, tour the fairy-tale Miramare Castle overlooking the Adriatic, explore the historic San Giusto Cathedral and castle, wander the atmospheric Canal Grande, enjoy coffee in Trieste’s famed historic cafés, take coastal walks along the Barcola promenade, and venture into the nearby Grotta Gigante, one of the world’s largest show caves. Day 2: Koper, Slovenia
Koper is a coastal town and municipality and the largest commercial port in Slovenia, on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. Koper is one of the 3 towns (the other 2 are Piran & Izola) rich in culture & Venetian history with scenic beaches and a busy marina and ports.
Sights in Koper include the 15th-century Praetorian Palace in Venetian Gothic style, the 12th century Carmine Rotunda church, and the Cathedral of St Nazarius with its 14th century tower.
Day 3: Split, Croatia
Split is not only an urban, cultural and traffic centre of Dalmatia with road and sea connections to Dalmatia's numerous summer resorts, but it is itself often a popular tourist destination. A city with a 1700-year old tradition, there is a variety of archaeological, historical and cultural monuments, among which is the well-known Palace of Diocletian .
Split has a variety of restaurants and wine cellars, offering domestic specialties. There are many beaches and public beaches in the city and its surroundings, the most popular of them being Bacvice, a sand beach almost in the very heart of the town. The cultural and entertainment offer of Split is extremely rich, particularly in the summer, when the city squares, yards and other areas turn into a large open-air stage. The Split Summer, a traditional festival in the middle of the summer season, includes dramas, operas and concerts.
Split has several theatres, among which the Croatian National Theatre, established in 1893, deserves a special mention as a house hosting theatrical festivals, the Split Summer and the Days of Marulic. There is also the Youth Theatre, and the Split Puppet Theatre. If you visit city Split remember it is a city of history, culture, and tradition but it is also a city of fun parties and great night life.
Day 4: Dubrovnik, Croatia
Dubrovnik, set along Croatia’s southern Adriatic coast, is a striking walled city where medieval stone streets meet crystal-clear blue waters and rugged limestone cliffs. The scenery is defined by red-tiled rooftops inside the Old Town, dramatic fortifications tracing the shoreline, and nearby islands scattered across the sea. Visitors can walk the historic city walls for panoramic views, explore the UNESCO-listed Old Town and its palaces and churches, ride the cable car up Mount Srđ, relax on beaches such as Banje or Lapad, take a boat trip to the Elafiti Islands, visit Fort Lovrijenac, and enjoy kayaking along the coast beneath the walls. Day 5: Kotor, Montenegro
Kotor is a coastal town in Montenegro. It is located in a most secluded part of Gulf of Kotor. Kotor is an old Mediterranean port and major tourist destination. It has one of the best preserved medieval old towns in the Adriatic, listed with UNESCO world heritage sites.
This small medieval town on the beautiful Kotor Bay is both charming and seductive. Narrow streets, contiguous houses, bulwarks, churches, cathedrals, squares, carnivals and feasts, create an environment that one cannot resist.
Kotor has numerous other sights, such as Cathedral of Saint Tryphon in the old town (built in 1166), and ancient walls which stretch 4,5 km directly above the city. Sveti Đorđe and Gospa od Škrpijela islets off the coast of Perast are also among more popular destinations in Kotor vicinity.

There are many museums and art galleries, with works by Raphael, Bottecelli, Pinturicchio and Belini and many more.
The Vatican City has many spectacular buildings and churches to visit principle amongst which is the Sistine Chapel with its Michelangelo ceiling. It is the world's smallest independent sovereign state and also features St. Peter's Basilica was built over 1,500 years ago the Vatican Library hand the Vatican Garden.
