The best time to visit Mozambique is from April to December. The weather is warm and dry during this time, making it ideal for beach vacations.
Keep in mind that prices for accommodation and flights tend to be higher during this time as well. The flight from Johannesburg to Mozambique takes about two hours.
You can also fly to Mozambique from Cape Town, this flight will take about 4 hours. Mozambique is a relatively affordable holiday destination for South Africans.
